When kids see me at the
store, they stare at me. I ride a stroller at the store, even
though I am almost nine years old. My legs still work, but I run
everywhere and touch things.
I need to touch things to find out about them. My hands don't remember how to work anymore and I knock boxes off the shelves when I try to touch them. |
Mom knows I like going to the store. The bakery lady always gives me a cookie and a smile. |
